We work with you, for you

Our team works together to learn about your child and your family, so that the care we provide is in line with your priorities and their needs

We have backgrounds in early childhood development across the areas of emotional development, cognitive development, sensory development, motor development and communication development.

We know the types of experiences and environments that help your child develop in all the developmental areas listed above.  We share this knowledge through the information and direct intervention we provide to support their needs.

You know your child. You know what they struggle with and when they struggle the most.

You know how you'd like to help them learn and grow.

You know what you need from us to help them learn what they need to be successful.

You share this knowledge to help us identify how best to support them in all the ways they need support.

Our Goals

  • To educate families and other stakeholders on the nature of developmental delays and healthcare services.
  • To promote self-advocacy for families in the areas of health insurance coverage for developmental delays and disorders.

How much will services cost me?

The total out-of-pocket cost to you depends on your insurance benefit plan, as well as approved coverage for services. Once you request an appointment, we will verify your insurance benefits and eligibility and share that information with you prior to your appointments - that way you will always know how much services cost before you start sessions with us.

If you don't have coverage for any of the services we provide, we offer out-of-pocket Care Plans or income-based reduced payment plans. You can review our Care Plans brochure for more information and talk to our Billing Team if you have any questions.

What if I don't want to use my insurance? How much do your services cost before/without insurance?

If we are in network with your insurance, we are required to bill them for services, unless you provide us with a letter or message stating that you don't want us to bill your insurance.

In those cases, our out-of-pocket costs for services range from $200 to $600 for initial evaluations and $150 for individual sessions. We also offer Care Plans, which offer fixed monthly payments for ongoing individual and group sessions.

Am I able to speak with one of your clinicians, or someone else at your center, to determine whether Early Start Therapy is the right fit for me?

Absolutely! When you attend the Intake Meeting, you will get a chance to meet with our Care Coordinator who will answer any questions you may have about us, our process, and our services.

Can I come to your office for sessions?

We provide all services in the natural environment, which includes the home, community locations, and via video visits. Research shows that children are able to use the skills they learn on their own when they practice in the environment that they need to use them.

When we try to teach children skills in an office or another setting they're not regularly in, it makes it more difficult for them to use the skills they need independently at home or in the community.

What can I expect after my child’s first visit?

After the initial evaluation process has been completed, your child’s Clinical Team will discuss their recommendations and treatment plan with you. Your Care Coordinator will then assist you with scheduling their ongoing treatment sessions based on those recommendations.

My child already received an evaluation from another clinic or agency. Can we just schedule therapy appointments instead of having to complete another evaluation?

We review external reports as a part of our evaluation process and in cases where your child recently completed an evaluation at another facility, the initial evaluation is our opportunity to meet your child and get to know your family’s unique needs so that we can customize their treatment plan accordingly.

How long does the Initial Evaluation Meeting usually take?

The initial evaluation meeting is usually scheduled for an hour and a half; in cases where your child’s Clinical Team needs more time to gather information for their treatment plan, the appointment may last a little longer.

What COVID-19 related precautions do you have in place for in-person appointments?

We are currently following all CDC guidelines, including social distancing (as much as possible given where each kiddo is!), and are also wearing masks and/or face shields, as well as sanitizing or washing hands before and after each session.

We ask for all families who have not received the COVID-19 vaccine to wear masks and sanitize their hands before and after each session, as well as to maintain a distance of 6 feet from others. We also ask that families who have been in contact with someone who recently tested positive for COVID-19, or who have any symptoms of the virus, notify our team immediately.
